GoodRoad earns five more medals, this time for Mead

This just in! Our handcrafted meads brought home some “heavy medals” from the Orpheus Cup Meadfest competition in Denver, Colorado. Among commercial mead makers, GoodRoad CiderWorks garnered the second highest number of medals overall with five medal-winning creations.

We swept the semi-sweet traditional mead category:
Grove De L’Orange, our orange blossom honey mead, captured gold, followed by micro-batch Oakey Pokey, an oak aged wildflower mead, at silver, and Avagadro’s Trail, our avocado blossom honey mead, ranking bronze.

Meander, our mesquite blossom honey mead, claimed silver among traditional sweet meads. Right Side of the Tracks, our maple mead, also brought home a bronze in the experimental meads category.
